Got a bone head question. I know installing plug ins slows down startup?
But do 3rd party plugins that are not being used in tracks slow down operation of Pro Tools or take more memory?

Make sure you have followed all the steps in preparing your Mac for using Pro Tools. It's in Avids FAQ I think. Bunch of things you have to turn off.

I just had the same problem with the same bundle. It says in ILOK manager that I am only entitled to one free trial, but I have never tried this bundle or any other.

I have sprayed contact cleaner in the sockets and on the edge cards, used a pencil eraser on the memory sticks edge...

I got it working after following those steps. What I was doing wrong was playing back the canned melodies on the keyboard to test the midi connection.

Oh well,
Set up a test with one mic on 1 mixer and 1 mic on the other.
Recorded playback from my monitors, one is slower than the other.
Might make a nice reverb :)

Heard that.
No, not so far, just doing some testing by recording with Mic's on both mixers.
I did not know Avid does not support that. Some web searches show that lots of
