Shure used to make a microphone that output a line level. I don't know if they still do. I forget what they are called, but it was always an idea that intrigued me.

The only problem is that Audiosuite cannot be done in real time...and since RTAS stands for Real Time AudioSuite this is the only way I can think of to print a mono signal in real time to stereo....
