I did some crossfades and then tried to consolidate the tracks, just like I'd done of a bunch of other tracks in the same song. This time I am getting the error:

This is an issue I've finally been able to recreate. It may be PT's plugin management but it is happening. I am on Windows XP Pro, a Dell machine recommended by Digidesign, and this never happened...
