Am I going mad? My protocols annual subscription just renewed and price has gone up from £95 inc Vat last year to £298 inc vat this year?

So that nice friendly Avid Application Manager told me there was an update available so I downloaded it and installed. Took my eye off the road though, it's been a long while since a protools...

I've got the same problem with my Apollo, it's totally random as far as I can tell. It can happen when I've been working for hours, in the same session, but the most usual time is immediately after...

It's loading plugins when it happens so the obvious thing is to start uninstalling plugins, start with the most recent and keep going till it works...

Yep I had that too with Windows 8.1

Went back to Windows 7 Pro in the end because of other issues with my Apollo interface, problem has gone away.

Just in case anyone else has this problem, there is a new version available, you need the new ilok License Manager to make it work, but all good now :-)

Yes definitely 10.3.5 that is the culprit. Re-installed 10.3.5 and Phoenix II has disappeared.

Hey Digi any ideas why this may be?

Tried trashing preferences - that didn't fix it.

It turns out it was 10.3.5 that was the culprit. I went back to 10.3.4 and the plugin shows up just fine.

yes, set up a mono track and a stereo track, can't find the native plugin in mono, stereo or multi-mono versions....

I realise I can't run the DSP version, but I'm not seeing it show up as a Native plugin either, though it definitely did with an earlier version of PT HD 10 else I wouldn;t have been able to...

I can see the PhoenixII.aaxplugin folder in...

Well I'm not privy to the ilok API but I'm pretty sure the Sonnox licenses allow you to run previous versions. Worst case is they should give you a bundle including the 3 & 5 license, especially as 3...

Some vendors allow for backwards compatability with previous versions, so an EQ5 license could enable an EQ3 plugin... lots of of other software works like that..
