Its OK, but getting a lot of beachballs when doing things like Commit and simple day-to-day tasks.

Nope - Does nothing. I've tried everything I can think of.

I can deactivate other lanes in other tracks by cmd clicking but there are some tracks that are inactive and no idea why it has...

Here's a trick I sometimes use that doesn't require a plugin.

What you need to do is duplicate you mono guitar track so you have two. Hard-pan them left and right and then nudge the .dup track...

Same as any other audio file. You can drag and drop directly into protools on a Audio track or drag into the Track list to create a new track.
