Re: New track height control

I never looked into this, but could it be that the new track gets the same height as the currently selected track.? Or the track next to it? (which would be the currently selected track.)

Re: CCC question

Yes, of course. Sorry.
My system is set to norwegian, and disk tools is just my translation of its norwegian name.

That's not correct.
I just double-checked. You can add and manage partitions...

Re: CCC question

You can manage partitions just fine, boot-drive or not. I do it all the time, with Apples Disk Tools.

If your internal 2TB volume has a lot of free space, just clone the partition that's on it now...

Here's a couple of little tricks that you might not be aware of:

1. Simultaneous creation of sends: select the tracks you want, create a new send while holding option-shift, and they will all get...

Re: Scarlett 2i4 headphone mix?

But, usually these kind of interface, the phones out just outputs main, 1-2.
You need to connect outputs 3-4 to the behringer and make pre-fader sends on each track that goes to 3-4. Then you will...

Re: Fast Track Pro/Audio Technica AT2020

Yes, definitely that's your problem.
Phantom power is only fed to the mic with a xlr connection.
You'll have to get a xlr-to-xlr cable.

Re: Input Monitoring OFF is here!!!

A few years back, when I really needed no-latency monitoring directly from my analogue gear, I used to just deselect "Link rec and play faders" in PT prefs, and set the track's fader to -inf db when...

Re: Wav "really" damaged by Pt 10.3

Does the three files contain any special characters?

I've learned the hard way to not use norwegian characters in track names in my sessions (Æ,Ø,Å), because they change to things like ;%&( or...

Re: "some bus paths were made inactive..."

I don't understand.
You want to send audio from a track to another, you set its output to a BUS and the other track's INPUT to that BUS. That was the point of my new-track tip.
It's just basic PT...

Re: Virtual Instrument Individual Track - Stereo to Mono

If you center both L and R on the instrument track, the pan law in PT will make shure the db level stays the same, and you can record either L or R on a mono track without the 6 db increase. And the...

Re: VCA Fader Question with Pro Tools 11- Help!

If you click the instrument tracks output, you can choose "New track...".
Then PT sets the output to a unused bus, creates a new audio...

Re: Is it my computer??

One of the most basic hardware requirements of PT is that audio must be recorded to a minimum 7200rpm disk that does not contain the active OS.

Re: How to make a "grid" out of a drum track to beat detective a tambourine to.

Re: Mbox 1 - How to get it working with Snow Leopard

http://www.usb-audio.com/
They make a driver that lets you use your mbox1 with Protools up to at least v10, and OSX 10.9.
There's a demo.

Re: Is it possible to use Amplitube 3 on a stereo aux track?

Re: original mbox interface not being noticed in logic or system prefrences?!
