the midi cables aren't going to carry any sound make sure you havesome
1/4 inch plugs from your triton to the

You dont have to allocate more memory to PTMP in the Mac but you can change your HW Buffer size inside PTMP to a higher buffer size to compensate for this slugishness, if you are recording audio ...

M-Audio makes the projectmix so its only for M-Powered Pro Tools
Pro Tools LE only supports Digidesign interfaces like the 002,003,Mbox 2, etc.

create a new user ACCOUNT in the system prefs and make it an ADMIN ... reinstal PT following instructions to the letter... open PTMP in the new...

since you are not recording midi make sure you are using audio tracks(not a midi track) to record,next check your connections and routings- I find it helpful to enable the i/o window in the edit...

said earlier so with that imac you will need a fw hard drive look on Digi and m-audio's sight for...
