Dunno what Pro Tools ”Trail” is ;) but I do know you can’t use the PT ”Trial” more than once a year. After 12 months it seem like you can trial PTU again.

Yeah if it is a perpetual HD license you would be lucky to get 600 bucks if it is an expired plan. With a year plan maybe 1000-1200 USD which is what we got.back in march.

Whatever you say buddy! We have those hardware units ( 2 of the 33609 ) and our UAD plugin of said HW is not even close! Sorry!

As usual hardware sounds more full and bottom end is better so AGAIN Whats the point of these HW vs SW when we ALL know the outcome??...

So PT8 LE will never work on Windows 10. Sorry but you got to get current with the latest PT 2020 if you are going to run Windows 10.

Seen similar on friends S1’s and the 5 letter tape after the P/N number looks like the serial number. In your case it is ---

Looks like it got put in the wrong place :o

It will use your onboard audio card and work as a virtual interface. This is NOT a replacement by any means as it usually sux but can be used...

I would also check the ignore error box to ON as we have had that checkmaried for 10 years. Just worth a try. And set the disc cache to atleast 75% of your total RAM amount.

What Pro tolols version are you using? The old ilok green keyshaped ILOK1 doesn’t work above PT10 so you would need the GEN2 or ILOK3 for anything above PT10.3.10 and above.

Nothing is ”wrong” with Pro Tools and 16GB these days is not a lot and is the bare minimum for PT 2018 and onwards.

And with Virtual Instruments demand more and more from the computers we use the...

No it can’t but we wanted to run the same sessions on the M1 offerings we borrowed from Apple and those 16GB M1’s won’t work in a real session with 50+ tracks with VI and automation etc

And for the current m1 16GB ram mini it is NOT enough for a Professional working with VI at all. We wanted to try the new Mac M1 MBP and Mini against our Mac Pro 7.1 384 GB 28 core...
