Latency Readout Mcdsp LE Line

Hi All

I noticed my Mcdsp Project Studio Native plugs aren't reporting their sample latencies when i command/click the readout at the bottom of the channel strip...

Can anybody tell me if this...

As far as hardware upgrades go........down here in New Zealand the Company which handles Digidesign refuses to provide an upgrade path from 002-003......bit of a kick in the teeth really....

Load your samples into a software sampler as an insert in PT
The samples will reside in RAM and you can trigger them instantly with a Midi...

I've been using LE since 6.9 and Logic when Pro first came out and never had any problems running both on the 002
I'm now on LE 7.1 and Logic Studio and still no problems
All on a G5 Quad PPC...

It pays to be wary of mixing FW400 and 800 data streams, you'll have data whizzing round at different speeds
The clicks and pops which can eventuate are softer than what you get with clocking issues...

I haven't used it before but a Google search shows it is AU compatible,which means you should just be able to open it on a Stereo or...

Well as long as you have an undamaged ADAT Toslink cable going from the Rosettas ADAT out to the 002s ADAT input
and you have PT set to slave off the Rosetta by selecting ADAT as clock source in...

I also did an A/B comparison with Vintage Warmer 2 and got waaaay Beefier,less Crunchier results
The Magic seems to be in the way it emulates the distortion characteristics of an analogue signal...

Well I tried the demo of AC and the ML4000 Mastering plug and was really impressed by both.

AC made my drum submix sound nice and cohesive and tamed the cymbals saturating the high end nicely

Hi Folks!

I notice the 002R will not show up in the Aggregate Device setup pane inside of Audio/Midi setup...

Is it simply not available as one half of an aggregate device?
