Hello PT friends,
I'm looking for a one fader controller that can easily control volume fader, pan, and plugins parameters.

I'm looking at Presonus Faderport v2(2018) and Behringer X-TOUCH ONE....

I'm on Yosemite running PT12 still.
The problem started a month ago I have no idea what's the cause.. haven't changed any setting or set up.
I contacted avid support center so let's see..

Hi everyone,
I'm having a strange problem.
PT often crashes when I try to import session data, save as, open(change) session, import audio, etc.
This is very random and doesn't happen every time...

I guess I'll start from PT 2019.5 & macOS 10.14.5 then if it's not stable, I'll try 2019.6 or 2019.12.

Which version of Mojave are you using now with 2020.3?
And do you think 2020.3 is more stable than 2019.5~12 on Mojave?

PT2020's folder tracks function is very attractive. I saw a few people say 2019.5&10.14.4(or5) is the best so I guess that's the way to go..

I didn't have DNxHR option in my QTpro or Mpeg stream clip but anyway, very happy here.

I found a little trick.

So I created a blank session and created 96 audio tracks(maximum tracks for my system) no plugins or anything, just tracks, saved, then open (without quitting PT) my...

So I've been trying things all day and no improvement.

I turned off Dynamic plugin processing, changed the playback device to Mac Built in, and even took out 4x4G Ram...

Nothing is in Record when this happens.
I turned off the auto backup and set the Undo to 1. No luck.
Activity Monitor shows PT is using CPU=108% Memory=1.80GB...

Just curious, why do you think the ram implementation can be the cause?
If that matters, it would cause other problems I would guess..

Every time I create new audio tracks, I get a spinning wheel and lose control for 1-15min.
Create new tracks - new tracks appear - freeze and spinning wheel appears - regain control after 1-15min.
