FYI, I was contacted by Avid and this has been logged as a bug. No timeline on a fix but they're looking at it. Hopefully it will happen soon! Thank you!

I don't know... I'm really struggling with this feature omission. It makes the interface clunky and nearly unusable compared to how I could fly through marker edits previously. Please, pretty please...

Thanks for the reply! I'd sure like to hear from Avid what is so great about this change. It crippled markers for my workflow. I would really like that functionality back.

Sorry I didn't explain that very well. I can see them but not when I'm zoomed really tight. If I'm zoomed out, they are there as expected but in order to use method #1 you have to be zoomed out far...

I appreciate the different ways to do the function.

#1 as I mentioned in my post doesn't work for because I am unable to see the markers in the timeline to elect them...

Yeah, I'm aware of that. I would like the DIgiTech guy who posted it to tell us how it is possible/why he thought it was possible. It is a much needed feature.

I would ask the mastering engineer if he can accept 88.2khz files and if so, record them back into your session using an auxilary track instead of bouncing and send him those files.

Although this works I think it is simply a workaround. A more elegant solution IMO would be to make the marker timeline groupable.

You can preview directly from the finder in OS X, just make sure you're in column view. I use it all the time, I just previewed a 24 bit 96k file that way.
