So a buddy and I have been working on a song and are about to send it off to an engineer. The engineer said to just take off all the plugins we have and just level the raw vocals and send it but...

So those tracks that are left and right wont stay left and right after consolidating? But the clip gains fades and edits will stay? Sorry i know you just answered this lol just trying to be clear lol...

Sorry for the late response. The more i read the more im finding this out but i was recording in stero just fine. Opening a stereo track and hearing it back out of both headphones and both meters but...

Im sure this is an easy fix but i want to understand whats going on too. Im more of a producer type and i make all my beats logic and my friend is more of a vocal guy and he likes to use pro tools....
