I installed over old PT and old OS X as I did both the OS and upgrade on PT at the same time. OS first the PT of course. :-)

I'm on a G5 Dual 2.0 GHz PPC and have tried a 50 track session and I don't seem to have any problems. Not sure what the issue you describe could be.

I had this problem and had to revert to the previous version of the ReWire plugin. Seems the v7.3 version of the plug didn't work so I replaced it with v7.1, since that was what I upgraded from PT7.1...

Well I figured it out. Its the DigiReWire v7.3 plug-in that is the problem. After putting in a v7.0 version of the plug-in it works now.

I seem to be missing Reason Adapted in my plug-in list after installing PT7.3
I then re-installed Reason, still nothing, then did the usual trash Pro Tools preferences etc. as per the sticky post...

Or just remember to eject/disconnect the iPod before you launch Pro Tools.
FYI If you eject from iTunes and leave it plugged in it will still be charging the iPod.
And yes it is annoying.

I don't have a HUI, but a Mackie Control and it uses the HUI protocol to communicate with PT. It works in PT 7.x HD. Hope that helps a bit.
