Electronic drums --> individual midi trax?

Hello,

is it possible to record an electronic kit through midi and have the kit seperated on individual midi trax? (track 1 - snare, track 2 - kick..etc)

Correct,...if you adjust the pan, you are further narrowing your stereo image.

can you give us more info with your setup? Room dimensions? What mics? (other than 2 57's for the snare).

You should not be tracking anything with plugins inserted on tracks...

I have that same mobo with 3.2HT and can easily do 32 tracks with many many plugs.. (before I upgraded my DAW)

Are you recording to your system drive perhaps?
