What does this mean please help.

Everytime it happens it messes with the audio track and makes it scratchy and weird sounds happen.

Ya dude, it does that. When you export it though, it should'nt have that static in the file. Its stupid I know.

Ok, looks like they won't take it back because of their 60 day policy.

Why in the hell do you guys package the MobilePre (that works with vista), and Pro Tools SE that doesnt work with Vista?

Wow really? I'm about to go have a bitch-fit at Guitar Center then.

It still works though, you just have to find ways around it.

I found that making a new project folder on the desktop helps with this issue.

You have no signal coming through?

Did you set which input your using on the recording track? It is a no-brainer, but sometimes I'll over-look something as simple as that.

Is this just a playback issue in pro tools? If so, I have the same problem, and yes it is very annoying. The good thing is, when you export it into a .wav file, there is no more static! It sounds...

If you have the track "armed" for recording, it should send live audio through. Then all you have to do is press play (just don't hit the recording button next to the play button) and you should be...

I have had this problem too.

It started doing that, then it just stopped. I really don't know what to tell you other than to "ride it out".

You might want to take the audio files you have...
