LCR outputs LCR and or mono

It's bad form to import from a cd or a usb thumb drive anyways. You should alway copy your assets to the hard drive you're working on. Then import them into your session. typically CDs are to slow...

If you have an Iphon there is an app for the numeric keypad.
Also If your region is the same length as the audio file it wont work.

I'm not saying it's your power supply,but they do got out every year to every 2 years. the faders will still cycle and the main unit buttons will flash.

Take a look at your disc allocation.Pro tools may be allocating your audio file to a different drive.I've seen it happen a few times.

Like some of these guys said buying a plugin to do your stereo bounce downs is the best route to go.
If you don't have that option you can split your 5.1 track into mono tracks
route those mono...

I don't know why its doing that. You could always highlight your regions then export region definitions (CMD Shift Y) that should change your file names to what you named your regions.
