radio buttons in digibase for in front of every drive for unmounting!

now you have to select the drive, then go all the way on the other side of the digibase window to...

i get a rather interesting error msg switching sessions w different sample rates:
'could not complete request because attempt to change gross sample rate with slots in place while translating audio...

i guess i should stay away from swear words and stay polite but its hard to do when you just spend 7 thousand bux on a new harpertown G5 and new pro tools cards, you load up a simple session w a few...

yeah had the same thing a while ago had to split up the session per reel and remove unused audio, mine was even more complicated because files where recorded over the 24 hr limit,
splitting up...

i tried direct to disc or ram play, no reliable results.

just upgraded from 7.1, now all is much less responsive!!!, has pt joined the ranks of bloatware?, the download was over 300mg
is this a ploy to have to go to 8-core?
is my 1st gen dual 1.8 G5 now...

client of mine has a studio that's buit around nuendo vrs 2.0 on a pc of all systems :_(
how the hell will he be working from/importing my sessions?
i'd like to use AAF but nuendo 2.0 can't read...

i had that happen a couple a times over the last year, only thing that worx is un and re-installing.
in my case Pro Tools, Mach 5 and BFD

never got any clue or respomse from digi :_(

before cs2 when the firewire video sync offset was enabled (22 quarterframes) and when you would spot a quicktime @ 1 hr exact it would automatically slip it 22 1/4 frms before the hour if i remember...

still no collapsable groups of tracks? i gor a lil excited with region groups in pt7 but nope......
pyramix has a function to collaps an intire group of trax into 1 'multitrack', record, edit etc...

how about more midi channels per instr track?
the whole orch. under one fader?
