Any performance hit compared to 7.1? The new features in 7.3 are tempting but I can't afford to lose any speed.

My 7.1 Quad G5 rig is rock solid. Should I upgrade to 7.3.1?
Hey all. Haven't been around here much lately since my PTLE 7.1 / 002R / PowerMac Quad 2.5GHz G5 rig has been absolutely reliable across the creation of two complete album projects this year. I have...

Re: Mbox, Spdif and Tiger
Same problem in one of the little studios I maintain; same setup except we use an iMac G5 instead of a PowerMac. We have to set the SPDIF clock pref every single time -- it's annoying.

Re: vocal tracks cutting through the mix
I'm inspired by the linked article to remix my record before I send it to mastering. I'm looking for a way to "see" the frequencies of any Pro Tools track, individually, so I can use this information...

Re: Using Waves Vocal Bundle plugs to zap mouth clicks
Not really. The minor reduction I get with the Rchannel preset Waves Support sent me is not strong enough. If I make it stronger, the voice sounds weird. I guess I need to buy X-Click and X-Crackle...

Re: Using Waves Vocal Bundle plugs to zap mouth clicks
Wow, Renovator looks like just the ticket, but our little startup could never afford it. The demo only works on three minutes at a time, so that's more trouble than it's worth.

They did. They sent me a preset for RChannel as well. Didn't get the time to test it last night but will tonight.
