anyone have a solution yet. have completely removed all pro tools from the computer several times and installed several times and still the same entry error. even tried to install Pro Tools 8 again...

I think I'll skip 10 and just go for 12. Should keep me safe for another 5 years hopefully. Thank you everyone that responded.

Which is why I will have to upgrade. Very happy with 8 but Cinesamples needs Kontakt so I have no choice

Think that's what I'll eventually have to do which I'm not happy about. All the bells and whistles in 10 is nice but decided against buying it a couple of years ago because they are useless for me...

Tried that and got a virus that asked me to dial an 800 number lol. It's unfortunate it won't work but I have Cubase and FL to fall back to so I'll be fine. Just prefer Pro Tools because I work so...

Oh so the problem is that Pro Tools 8 just doesn't support it? That sucks. Would have made life so much easier music wise

It did have the option for RTAS. Watched videos on how to route Kontakt 5 in Pro tools but not sure where to copy the extension to make it work. Tried to place it in the X64 Program Files and Common...

Need assistance getting it to work with Pro tools. I have copied the extensions and everything into the Avid folder like all the youtube and google searches suggested, but Pro tools 8 still won't...

I use a fast track pro from m audio as my interface. monitors are the cheap ms40's. will upgrade them soon but for now i'm stuck with them

does anyone know how to change tempo in pro tools 8? for instance i'd start a piece in 118 bpm then about 40 seconds change it to 170 bpm. any help would be appreciated

I just bought melodyne and installed it correctly. When I playback a vocal though it shows a red line but doesn't really pick up the voice. I was wondering if anyone knew what I was doing wrong.
