Is a long story, but basically, to get it, I was doing work for a man renovating a studio, and due to injury, I could not continue in what he considers a timely fashion, so he wants it back..bad...

Wanted to just start over and make it "Factory fresh" so to speak..

Is there an easy way by chance?

And no, I was too dumb to make a backup before I started swapping out rigs.. :(

Well..that was an experience. I ended up deleting the 11R drivers and then opened up PT10 and then when it stopped and asked about hardware, I reinstalled the 11R driver, had to cancel out PT, then...

Ok, I have screwed something up..

I started up PT10, and it said there was an update waiting or whatever, so I told it to go ahead, and now I have PT10.01 (I think it says), but now the editor...

You are probably right as to my "approach"..it certainly wasn't the "best" way to try and get help..but even had I been a bit more tactful, it would not have gotten me any farther to a favorable...

well..just rolled over 59 minutes and still no resolution..He came back on and gave me this Kirk Carlstrom's phone number, I guess he is a rep for them in some capacity..and the case number #01760536...

Opps..I was wrong..it is a "Registration Case Creation" form...

It seems as though it went thru, as it gave me a "case number"..

Am still trying them on the phone..off and on now for over 2...

The form I filled out was a "Service Case" form...it did not have a place for anyone else to fill out...this was all electronic and submitted thru their website..

I was told that my unit was bought by a local "pro" well known to the staff, but then returned by this person because of "too many buttons" syndrome. Why there is no software, I do not know..kind of...
