if its the issue I see occasionally that presents like this then it is a bug.

I go to playback engine and change the buffer size. it should work again after that if it is the issue I have seen...

Streaming Setup with AUX I/O?

hey guys, pardon my ignorance but how do i avoid source nexus with the new AUX I/O ? or should i say what are you using for the streaming etc and how is it setup?

hey Rick,

i believe you will get HW insert delay compensation.. i havent worked on hd native for quite awhile (hdx for ages !) but i remember it working from memory just the same for HW insert...

quick update.... copy that audio file to a new track and it seems to work normally ...

then drag it back to the original 'corrupted track' and it's back to normal there too...

HDX Hybrid tracks going out of time

I've noticed this a few times now... record a vocal take with the thunderlight on... finish the take and playback and it's typically fine... however if i am silly enough to switch the hybrid mode off...

Avid hdx noises

Hi guys,

I finally did the upgrade to 2021.7 and did the firmware change for the HDX card... What i immediastely noticed was that clicking on hardware inserts caused different noises and clicks...

for that short click you simply program a few ms of mute silence which has fast auto fades in them for bypass clicks... ... so fast you hardly notice the silence.

c'mon guys, it is very doable and not rocket science... Logic allows hardware inserts, pings for latency and works perfectly when bypassing and auditioning hardware using AVID HDX as the interface. ...

check your mac os audio is not muted... when using logic the volume of the master volume of the core audio can affect ALL outputs on the hdx interface.

they can't advertise a feature, sell something for money based on that being provided within a time period of ownership considered reasonable and then not provide it... well, not in Australia anyway...

I got the 2018.10 plugins working... it seems Sierra install I had was a bit funny. I re-installed and they seem to be going good..

Only thing is I still can't get some of the avid...

As unkJE says the bundle of 'All' avid plugins doesn't provide all plugins or any prior versions... there is only one download file in the AVID link folder...
