OK... But the 02r96 does not show up in the Receive From and Send To parameters under peripherals / midi controllers

I know this has been covered some years back but I am trying to get my 02R96 to talk to Pro Tools 9... I have downloaded Latest Yamaha USB midi driver but it does not show up in peripherals on...

After checking all the cables, suddenly I lost communication with ProTools (as I changed the sample rate on Presonus) on re enabling it worked ok! WEIRD!!

Unfortunately I could not replicate it...

Please read and understand what I said in my post above. I am not saying that the Rosetta is no good at all, I have not even used it as an AD/DA yet as I have had no time to wire it in for that...

A late night and extensive tests on ROSETTA 800 that arrived this evening!

Conclusion ....the Rosetta clocking is no better than the internal on my YAMAHA 02R (or to look at it another way...

Just did some tests on my system to see if different word clocks made any difference to a mix!
ANYWAY interestingly I did 2 mixes of a song, with external word clocks and put them out of phase...

HI I will try to be less vague but I am new to this 24 bit A/D stuff and wordclock distribution so your replies can tend to come over as complex.

I record at the moment direct into the PRO TOOLS...
