PT HD Native 12.3.1 hangs/freezes on exit in Windows 10.

I rolled back to Win 7. PT 12.3.1 very stable on Win 7 so far.

Make sure you're launching PT11 as administrator with "Disable Desktop Composition" checked in the Properties/Compatibility tab. This disables Aero on Windows 7 while the app is running. It...

Using a Mackie Control and two 8 fader extenders here all in HUI mode.

HUI controller type is available for me in PT 10.2

When I use external I/O hardware I take 2 seconds to uninstall ASIO4ALL.

Dang... froze up tonight while doing drum edits. Was also using external insert for a TC Reverb 4000, and some UAD plugins along with normal PT channel strip plugins.

I'll try to narrow it...

I should add that I've changed my monitoring from Input Monitoring through PT to Direct Monitoring through the Lynx Mixer. Keeping the PT audio buffer setting at 1024 now.

Perhaps others still...

Been tracking and mixing with PT 10.0.1 all day (about 6 hrs)... no freezes or crashes yet. Solid so far.

PT 9.0.6 is stable on my systems, but I use UAD plugins and external hardware inserts.

PT 9 can't handle the amount of delay compensation for this setup.

PT 10 can address greater delay...

Yes but in particular, SONAR builds a tempo map for each clip you choose to open for AudioSnap. It works but gets a little bogged down even when AudioSnap is off. I don't notice this...
