Didn't realize you had the + version. So yeah, DI on the front for channel 1 is the same as on the back for channel 1. They've just added an alternate one on the front for convenience so you don't...

The front DI goes through the preamp because all DI's must first go through a preamp to get to line level. The DI's correspond to the channels they are closest to. There is no DI jack on the front....
