It's unfortunate that you have not listed your setup in your profile... the 002 (NOT the 002r, which is a poor man's HD) is a SUPERB control surface for LE...........

Yeah, it seems that scrubbing is out of the pic for now for me, too (I own the contour shuttle and it worked fine til 7.0.. contour says they are working on it, but it's been many months...)

In case you were not aware, plugins that operate at up to 96k just plain sound better at the higher sample rate, and the little extra detail does sound nice...(ever heard of mastering engineers...

also to add to that: check out bob katz's site (and book) at www.digido.com (http://www.digido.com) to find out why sampling rates (in the standard PCM format) never need to go higher than 88.2...

That is just not true.... I HAD a 2.4 P4, and now I have been forced to use my 1.6 ghz AMD (2100 xp), I also have used a P4 1.6...
