I would also like to know if I can run my nforce onboard sound through my 002 rack somehow. I have it connected through the Alt Src Inputs as the manual suggested but there is no output audio sound...

The cable runs from my soundcard onboard output into a 3.5mm steroe plug and out through the twin red and white RCA plugs into the Alt Src Inputs on the back of the 002 rack just like the manual told...

BTW, my mic is a SM Pro Audio MC 01 Condenser mic. Has anyone heard of that mic? Any good? The people I spoke to about it said it compared to the Rhode NT1 but cheaper. What do you guys think?

Could I say just get 4 cannon to jack leads and mic the other 4 inouts that way...then I would have 8 mics. Is that advisable or would the sound quality of a mic through jack line be not so good?

Nope. no soundblaser card. Only the onboard Nforce sound codec which is automatically disabled by windows when the 002 Asio drivers are activated.
