You can grab an MBox 2 mini on Amazon for $194 and the 8 that came in the box works fine on the new Macbooks with...

Had this same issue...Time to upgrade you can score an MBox 2 mini on Amazon for $195 and it comes with 8.0.3..just did it last week

I get an "Access Violation error" its a topic over in the SE forum that Avid is working on.. I just wanted to know if theres any problems in 8 before I return this thing and get that...thanks guys

Does anyone know if there are any problems with PT LE and this new Mac? I bought SE and for some reason I get a stupid error that Avid hasnt fixed yet... for $50 more I can get an MBox 2...

I have picked up the same early 2011 Macbook and a MobilePre with SE...Does this problem happen with PT 8 and the Mbox Mini 2 on that system? for $50 more I may as well get that...Thanks
