Maybe switching your Bios to Pluy and Play -ability might help.

PT 8.0cs3 is running smoothly with lots of VIs Plugs. FXpansion 2.11 is working and the wrapped plugs do work too. Also mcdsp older version. A heavy loaded session with 8...

Good idea. Heres a list.

1 Slot PCIEX16_1 = ATI/ASUS X1650
2 Slot PCIEX16_2 = empty !!

3 Slot PCIX_1 = HD core (pcix version!)
4 Slot PCIX_2 = HD Process (pcix version)...

neighter userva 2500 nor would 2990 work. PT gets strang behaviour in grafiks an kills even earlier at arouns 1,8 GB.
SP2 an the simple 3GB switch worked perfect till 2 GB

Bios update to 0905 and upgrade to SP3 brought up PAE in the systemproperties/ common at borderline. Seems to be active without a command in the boot.ini. now !

PT 8 crashes again at 2GB border....

Yes, it is already running. But it exits exactly at 2,021 GB.Im just in a kind of competition-fever and want to get the most out of the box, now that i started the game ...:D

Hi,
good suggestion, but "only" pci and be shure that behind the pci slots nothing gets in the way of the quite long HD cards.
Good pictures of mobos at newegg ..... If that works it looks great...

-Adat slaved via MMC from MTP AV (9 Pin D-Sub)
-Adat Brige slave via Digi Superclock from MTP AV
