Re: Reali-Banjo - Virtual Instrument - Kontact Player

Thanks Chris!

:D

Believe it or not, it actually would have been harder to make them not move to the beat. The way I wrote the code is that the animation frames happen at the same time as the...

Re: Reali-Banjo - Virtual Instrument - Kontact Player

Thanks for the input on this. I have a whistling library coming out soon that will be $20 or so, and I'm considering doing animated graphics again, so the input is very helpful.

Musicman, my...

Re: Reali-Banjo - Virtual Instrument - Kontact Player

The graphics are tacky? Uber corny??? Garage Band?!?!? Well, I have never been so offended in my life!

:D

Graphics is a topic I've been struggling with lately. We have a vocal library...

Re: Make sliced audio move with tempo

That's funny. I was racking my brain trying to remember when I had barbecue with some guy named Sean Halley. ;)

Michael Greene used to be a pretty handy name to have. Back when I was...

Re: Routing Mac audio to Pro Tools

I actually keep a ProTools session called "ProTools Monitor" on my desktop for this same purpose. Coincidentally, I even use 9/10 as the inputs. I use a MOTU Traveler rather than the Mac's...

Re: Region Colors

That did it! Thank you, diamondschwin.

I wonder why this isn't the default setting? Wouldn't everybody want their regions the same as the track color?

Re: Make sliced audio move with tempo

You guys are geniuses! That did the trick. Thank you, guys.

Yeah, I could definitely go for some BBQ right about now. Freakin' diet . . .

Region Colors

ProTools gives us an option to set "Track Color" to the left of each track. I find this fairly useless, because that color is just this tiny band way off to the left.

What I really wish I could...

Make sliced audio move with tempo

I chopped up a beat (manually) and now want the beat to speed up or slow down as I adjust the tempo. But when I slow the tempo, rather than the regions syncing with the tempo/beat, the audio...

Re: Anyone using TDM and LE with current versions...

My experience with LE is pretty limited, but I wanted to do some basic bounces recently on my laptop. The only snag for me was how many plug-ins that I rely on are TDM only! I'd never thought...

Re: PT 7.3.1 wont recognize Waves or Phoenix

I didn't know that about the 5.9 thing. Logically, you'd think that since it's still a "5" version that . . . oh, wait . . . we're talking about Waves here . . . <sigh> . . . OK, I'll jump through...

PT 7.3.1 wont recognize Waves or Phoenix

I've installed ProTools a million times over the years, so I don't see what I could have missed.

I downloaded the latest Waves 5.9 as well as Crane Song Phoenix and an older MDW EQ 1.4. I...

TDM versus RTAS effects - the same?

I normally work on PT-HD rigs, but I got a ProTools LE setup for my laptop. I'd like to do some bounces of individual tracks on the laptop and keep the results as masters, but before I do, I need...

Re: Possible to trim or extend multiple regions at once?

Thanks PRATHRAP! That method is close and I hadn't thought of it, but filling all those gaps adds too much to the start. The gaps are all 2 or 3 seconds, but I only want to add a couple...

Possible to trim or extend multiple regions at once?

In a single track, I have split the take into about 30 regions. I now realize I should have left another few milliseconds at the beginnings of each edit. Is there a way to "batch" extend multiple...

Re: A Cheap ProTools System That Will Play TDM-HD Songs?

Thanks folks! Those are the answers I needed.

Looks like I'm getting a $300 dongle (aka M-Box Mini.)

A Cheap ProTools System That Will Play TDM-HD Songs?

There are times when I'd like to take some simple projects from my HD rig and transfer them onto my laptop so I can do some basic stuff when I'm on the road. Mostly editing stereo mixes, sort of...
