Reading through other posts on this topic I stumble over people saying they have set their Mac Audio to optical/digital. Same goes for Omni and software e.g. Soundminer.

Finally sorted it out. I trashed the whole Sonnox folder here: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-Ins (that's where the .dpm's are). PT is launching now.
