An alternative is to get a hackintosh. From your posts, it looks like you have an HD system but can't say for sure. If you do, you definitely need pcix slots for your HD dsp cards.

The venue installer has all of their plugins so would install everything. There is no way to choose. Irritating, but it's how waves choose to do it.

Try disabling plugins one by one in a session that has issues. It's possible a plugin may be doing it. Has happened to me before.

Do you have any plugins on the master bus? Did you try rule out the rest of the signal chain?
Could be a number of issues.

Don't wait for your new iLok! I would suggest just deactivate the your old iLok asap and transfer when the new one arrives.

While ZDT is definitely a boon, why go through the hassle of sending it...

The 1080 is the primary display.

It helps if I swap displays with Catalyst. I've also physically swapped the ports to which the displays are connected.
