so redid the install from scratch and did not do any migration of user data... which for some reason was the obvious cause of the problem, which is strange because the previous system ran Pro Tools...

just changed out my hard drive on a macbook pro for an ssd... very fast, very nice.

I did a fresh OS install, updated to 10.7.2, then installed PT 10 and it will not launch... gets to the startup...

9.0.1 failed for me when using the updater. I had to (safe) uninstall and reinstall using the full installer. 9.0.2 has no full installer and I have no need to bother with it as 9.0.1 is working...
