AVID figured it out!! 🙌🏽

Here were the instructions:

Change the name of the computer and reboot:
> Go to System Settings->Sharing.
> Edit button just change the name right in the Computer...

Yes, Eucon can be toggled on/off in both the Peripherals menu and the toolbar if Eucon is checked to show.

Yes, there's also a toolbar view that shows a green light on/off. I've toggled. The problem ONLY exists when using Rosetta. Eucon / s1 is fine in PT...

Yes, accessibility allowed and verified by Avid tech.

The computer shipped with Ventura 13.4.0, but when I updated to 13.4.1 is when the problem started. I don't even change any settings and S1...

After more research I decided to get the M2 Studio Max. It's smoking fast and working great for my needs now and I anticipate for at least 3-4 more years.

I hear ya. The way I setup my Macs I offload all the large data (photos, Apple Music, Dropbox, samples, etc) to external NVME M.2 drives... Setup in a RAID 0 they are lightening fast. So the 1TB...

Thx. I *think* the Max will be great, too. I wish I knew how much faster the rendering would be on the Ultra over the Max bc then I could quantify the time savings over a longer period of time.
