Well, I can you tell you it is not 16 or 8 because the card utilizes a short slot. PCIe 1x would be good enough. Consider that HD cards of the past used less than 5% of the PCIe lane's bandwidth.

The most PCIx HD Cards you could put into a tower is 4, so technically, you can never do an ITB solution and will always require your Magma.

Pluging the iLok 2 in once more, even though the HD 10 Auth is on the old iLok, brings the system back into its crummy slow state where it takes 10 min to load PT...

With 10, I am having the same issues. 17% CPU load, with 6 heavy (Maschine, 2xMassive, 2 Omnisphere, and Minigrand) VSTs and only 5 light plugins.
