Brian, try eliminating plug-ins to see if they are causing your problem. Four instance, the Sansamp plug-in is a known offender. Try running with just a basic stock avid plug-ins and go from there.

I'll try the reinstall. I'm using TY blue on gold but I was running in simulation mode so I don't think media was the issue.

MLCD 2.1 & Ricoh 1420c

I'm having a problem with MLCD 2.1 and a Ricoh 1420c w/1.6 firmware. It hangs. If I replace the Ricoh with a Yamaha 102, it works fine. The Ricoh works fine with Adaptec Jam 2.1. Any ideas?

I did a test burning at 2x and 4x on a Plector using Jam. The 2x failed the BLER tests and the 4x passed. The new MLCD manual suggests higher speeds.
