I'm having just the same problem with version 2018.3.0 running on OSX 11.6 on a late 2013 Mac Pro, and I have already tried everything in this thread.

Then, I assume the best way to do that is to keep a 192 loaded with I/O cards and exchange the one with minimum configuration. It looks like Avid won't acknowledge us if we have purchased extra...

Does that mean that even if my plugins are up to date, they are not necessarily compatible with 9.0.5 ?

Since Digidesign's Midi I/O has gone EOS, what do you guys suggest as the best replacement product ?

Yes indeed, the RTAS-wrapped Voxengo VST plugin works. I would suspect Alloy works as well, but I need to try it !

However, I thought ProTools was way more pro than WinAmp and I only use Mac software/platforms.
