Yes it seems to be a bug. Can't see why this would happen with a mono send to a mono compressor (the stereo plug was the last in the chain) but i'm happy it got resolved. It was driving me nuts....

Uploaded the screen cap but when i tried to submit it said i don't have 'permission from this server'. But yes, i'm positive all drum tracks go to the same stereo Bus.

Positive. All drums go to Bus 1-2. Snares and toms go to different aux tracks for grouping, but the outs of those aux tracks go to Bus 1-2 as well, so all drums tracks end up on Bus 1-2.

I can turn the pan knob and the numbers change, but the sound does not pan to reflect what was done with the pan knob. All other tracks that are assigned to the same stereo bus do pan correctly....

I have the same problem with INACTIVE tracks. They unhide every time i open the session, without fail

Thank you! Other than the trim workaround i could have sworn there was a shortcut to be able to do it within the plugins themselves. So there basically is no such shortcut in ProTools?

If Avid fully supported Console 1/Softube i'd buy a second HDX card in a heartbeat - meantime i'm considering Studio One + a super PC to get the needed power. Pity that Avid just doesn't get it these...
