Re: A little trick for Melodyne Editor users

And, in any case, you can always use the original audio as a timing reference and SPOT the rendered audio(use Tab to Transient to find the exact sample placement of the first transient).

Re: Aae -6116

I've never seen a -6116 error. You need to provide a boatload more info on the computer and EVERYTHING that is connected to it. Find the link near the top of this(and every) DUC page called "Help Us...

Re: Simutaneous analog and digital outputs on HDX + IO 8x8x8 ?

It works as long as you configure the digital paths correctly. Its a bit non-intuitive so the best bet is to connect and start messing with it until it works(and save screen captures of the correct...

Re: Optical Output issues with 003 Rack

The 003 can handle a 96K session fine, but the optical IO cannot work above 48K(maybe that's the issue):o

Re: 12 cores not being used equally (cpu errors)

I think a better test of whether 192K is worth it is: compare the actual final product. IOW, I agree that comparing a 192K session to 44.1K would(should) sound much much better. However, what format...

Re: Cheap talkback IO ?

The 96 IO boxes each have a lightpipe input. Why not grab a Behringer ADA8200. That would give you 8 more preamp/inputs for less than $200:o

Re: AAE -9129 - Cpu conflict error crashing Ultimate

What is your playback buffer set to? Most HDX users I know are pushing that to 512 or 1024 as the solution:o

Re: Can't record to external HD

In addition to above, the formatting can make or break recording. Exactly how is the external drive formatted(example, PT cannot record to a DYNAMIC drive). Beyond that, back in the days when LE8 and...

Re: Drum VIs? Loops?

What I have always done with VI drums is make them my own. That happens in a few ways:
#1-turn off all the ambience and room mics
#2-detune the drums(and make presets for all of these tips)...

Re: 002 Rack

Given the age and reliability(not so good) of the 002, I would toss it unless you have some need for it(I doubt there is a way to incorporate it with the Antelope):D Also, since firewire seems to be...

Re: Low Latency Monitoring issue with third-party interface

Shooting from the hip here as I have not used the Ensemble, but I would turn LLM off and set the Playback Buffer to 64. I have run that way for years(with DIGI003 and HD/Native) and never had any...

Re: Monitoring FX Aux like Cubase 10

There are 2 ways around this:
#1-Solo Safe the AUX track. This means that when you solo the source track, you will still hear the AUX track(fine if you don't need to hear the AUX without the source)...

1-The Waves SSL Buss...

Re: help purchasing controller monitors

I am also a fan of the Central Station, but have some extra info that you should be aware of:
#1-the older version used a PSU that connected with a 5-pin XLR. Those are not available if they fail,...

Re: windows 7 still works?

This is a great case for pulling the system drive and keeping it just as it is(IOW, working with PT10). Install a fresh SSD, load up Windows 10 and the latest version of PT(and the old drive becomes...

Re: Issues Connecting iPad to Eucontrol Windows 10

Maybe your wifi router needs updating? For me, a cheap N wifi router was very unreliable. Once I switched to a dual-band router, connection has been almost 100% solid:-)

Re: pro tools set up?

Looking at this, I hope you have an HDN or HDX card. The 192 cannot connect directly to the computer without one of these cards. Assuming you do, then you can do most anything in the box. I agree...

Re: Timeline Color

I would try adjusting your monitor(screen) settings(especially Brightness and Contrast). Flat-screens seem tougher on the eyes over the older CRT monitors(but we do love the screen sizes:rolleyes:)....

Re: PT incorrectly thinks I have HD installed and now it fails iLok authorization

What interface are you running? The software(since PT9) is all the same installer so its the iLok license that tells the software which version to open in(HD or non-HD). Wondering if the interface is...
