I wouldn't use any maintain-pitch-algos (time-stretch or squeeze) in one run. Almost all of them alter sync in favour of sound quality. Resulting in a rubbery looking sync even when the file itself...

MC always uses split mono files, unless I think they are using some linked workflow which has it's own pitfalls. I don't think it's often used. Split mono is perfectly normal.

Hm, I simply double click on the AAF select (link where possible) and then relink and point PT to where the media is. No need to add all of it to PT first. I never use 'force' or copy as it breaks...

Loop playback with picture broken in 20.9+20.9.1?

We're seeing errors after about 10 rounds of loop playback. PT throws up some kind of "too slow or not enough CPU" and stops. Happens on every rig that's on 20.9 and 20.9.1.

Yes, it's random and there's no fix other than restarting the session. But it will come back. It's totally random and has been like that for at least 3 years now.

That's currently not possible. The thing is: While it might seem practical to do an audio-compare based on a full mix typically inside a QT it will give you LOTS of false matches or false negatives...

Name length is mentioned somewhere in the PT reference guide. Try a search there. The 1024 bytes for the path length is an OSX thing, which could differ from what PT can do so take that with a grain...

PT will cap names automatically when you try to name a session or a file/clip inside PT with too many characters so it should not create files that are not cross-compatible with Windows.
