I am trying to launch PT 7 on a 64 bit Windows 7 but it gives me this error code instead of running: 0xc0000005.

Hi all,

are there any known problems with multicore notebook processors (i.e. 4) and PT LE 7.4.? This version only allows to choose between 1 and 2 cores, but not 4.

I wanna buy a new NB and...

the cs10 has solved the problem!
PT 7.4 now launches.

However, recording doesn't work properly, i.e. it interrupts and crackles.
I have already changed the playback...

It's Windows XP.

And, as I said before, it used to work a year ago on the same T60 with the same graphic card etc.

I even cannot delete PT from my hardrive. When using the software interface it says: "you've already running a version of PT." And it interrupts the process of deleting.
