I have it working at home. Got rid of my MBox 2 and use the Zoom exclusively now.

Okay, I talked to Digi/AVID and got some solid answers.

What threw me off was the multiple choices of voices for each DSP level. It's really very straight forward. In the playback engine...

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought only ProTools OR core audio could be running at once. Try quitting core audio and then launching ProTools.

I still don't understand the benefits. If I tie up 6 DPS and 192 voices, yet I am only using 10 voices, you say there is "less DSP for other things". What are those "other things"?

Curious, what is the advantage/disadvantage of using more or less DSP and more or less voices?

I am on an HD3 and using 6DSPs. This fills 6 slots with the HD Engine giving me less room for TDM...
