Ok, let's see if I've got this right (I just don't want the buyer pissed that I sold them something they can't use):

I fill out a PT LE transfer. I give the buyer the Mbox2 and the latest version...

Transferring Ownership

I'm thinking of selling my Mbox2, PT LE, and Strike. Will there be any issue with someone else buying PT and Strike, or is the registration "stuck" with me and can't be transferred?

Looks like I've still got the problem even though I tried everything in the Troubleshooting page. PT LE is becoming too much of a hassle to try to run these days.

Here's the info I got from Digi a few months ago. I'd dump PT right now, except I invested hundreds of dollars into it, Strike, and a bundle of plugins.

Agreed. Strike is more of a pattern triggering tool, than a note triggering tool.

Do you know what phrase they are titled with? No one had any posts titled -6104, and searching for lock up or freeze brings up dozens of posts which all deal with different topics.

Same problem here. There's a compatibility problem between PT and the MAC audio apps. Digidesign says they don't have the resources to fix the problem right away, but over 1 year???

Now what? ...

I've had the same issue for the past several...

I've had the same issue for the past several months. As soon as I unplug my Mbox2 from my Mac mini the random non-PT audio hang-ups go away.

1- Strike in PT track.
2- Mod Rock 145 selected.
3- In settings, "while held" is selected for fills.
4- On the PT track I have an E2 trigger note...

Yes, this is a problem. I contacted Digi about it but the issue went nowhere. It looks like Strike only plays the fills at the end of a verse. It's not fixable by changing the fill settings. You...

You can leave the drums as midi triggering Strike and then it'll turn to audio when you bounce to disk. As far as the controls, just add automation points to the midi track.

I agree with AMIEL. The manual isn't the best, and A.I.R.'s response to inquiries in this forum and via direct email is lacking. I personally have posted and contacted A.I.R. about drum fill issues...

I don't think so. Those plugins work on frequencies. If all of the drums are on 1 track the plugin doesn't know what frequencies belong to what drum.

Most standard "quality" near field monitors have magnetic shielding so they don't interfere with CRT monitors. That shielding would reduce the impact of monitor magnetic fields from harming drives.
