ren/verb will do fine for this..

trust yourself , give the mix a few days to settle
and listen again. (if you can) you'll feel different about the way it sounds after a day or two.

I am trying to intert a signal generator on
a MONO audio track (or an aux)

The plug is in the plug folder.
(signal generator - 5.1.1)

It does not appear in the plugin menu.
TDM or RTAS...

Bouncing to the internal is how i do it..

when I'm in spot mode, no time code window opens up (when selecting regions).

Instead, regions "jump" to edit cursor upon selection..

Spread some stuff around, give instruments some space.
Stereo tracks 100% panned start to pile up
losing detail.
Try the delay advice given above. ( delay is GREAT )
