I think The Weed's issue is different from mine and OP's. Mine looks like OP's in the Facebook vid - vertical various-sized 'blocks' over the waveform, not 'blocky-looking' (low-res) waveforms.

Yes! Me too. I've been thinking it might be my 2 Dell monitors (as in, I'm not using Apple monitors).

Something to do with the refresh rate...? But I can't get it to go away. I'm on 1920x1080,...

I've had a FP1 (pretty good) and a FP2 (quite a lot better!) with Pro Tools. You don't get 100% of the features with PT but it works great for me. The buttons feel good - just make sure you've set it...

Yes, happening for me too - M1 Max, Monterey, native mode, and it wasn't happening in 2023.6. Thinking about reverting to 2023.6... gonna wait and see just how annoying it is, because I like the new...

...More info:

These pics are the same thing (set to min vertical expansion) in Rosetta and M1 native.

First clip is digital silence - second is about -84dB of cable hum.

The Rosetta version...

Tested this this morning (using Monterey, PT 2023.6 Native).

If I consolidate a few empty bars to create a file of digital silence, I get the hoped-for thin centre line, and expanding it...
