There are no Sound manager drivers for the AM3 under os9 but you can route the outputs via the Digidesign Control Panel thats on the LE CD in the beta/bug fixes folder.

I dual boot just fine and run PT's. I would create 2 partitions. 1 with osx and os9 and the other with just os9 that has PT's installed.

You have to use the digidesign control panel you can download it from digi or it's on the digi LE cd. This only allows outputting, not capturing audio.

Thanks Bill, this was exactly the informaion I was looking for. I knew there was a Bus Mastering issue with the 2940 and the 9xxx series Macs, this should help me. I will keep the 2940 in slot 1...

There arent any sound manager os9 drivers for the AM3 so you cant with that card *that I know of). I had the same problem. the card should be removed from the compatibilty list with digi. do a search...

BTW, I wouldnt have bought that card for a number of reasons. non input G4's have no way to capture audio...
