The sentiment of the author of the work around is right... why remove the feature? I think it's because it's designed to fill up your cloud space with no way to remove files.. so it eventually...

So what if I have a bunch of takes that recorded over the same track.. the clips and waves are still part of the project.

Or.. if a clip has been cleared.. how do you delete it.

Thanks for the reply.

How do you remove unused clips?

Also, when I delete a track, I still see it in the Clout to be downloaded in the Tracks. They never disappear - and keep taking up space....

Cloud space says it's filling up... but doesn't seem to delete tracks I'm not using.

And not able to delete takes.

Any ideas?

So far up to 12.8.2 - still no clip manager. Can't sync a project.. says space is full.. log in and it says it's 44% full. Can't remove anything that has been added to the project - delete a track...

I'm guessing it allows ProTools session to fill up with clips that sync to the cloud and use up the free space so you might upgrade your space. Why else would the ability to delete clips be removed?
