The problem isn't the retimed clips being assigned a role, the problem lies in translating the EDL into an AAF and maintaining the retimed clips.

I did this for a couple of years and here's what I learned.

The video editor needs to utilize audio roles in their sequence (Narr, Prod, SFX, Music, etc...). Each audio clip in their sequence...

I'm in and out of sessions all day long, and while it doesn't take all that long to get the board back to where I left it, it would be fantastic if I didn't have to.

Do you know if they are adjusting the speed of clips in Premiere? We've have problems in the past with video editors slowing down/speeding up clips and then not receiving them in the OMF.

Now that we can stack multiple EUCON commands (THANKS EDDIE!) has anyone found an optimal delay time between commands?

I've tried up to 100ms and I still have commands that get stuck.

If I spend over $100k on a board I expect better than stickers. If you designed it so that changing the keys is a pain point come up with a better option.
