First, the PT audio was recorded at 48khz 24 bit. They also wrote on the hard drive case 29.97 drop frame (same as the video frame rate) so we should be good as far as the speed. Also, the Beta tapes...

OK, newbie here...

I'm using the Mbox 1 and I don't have any MIDI controllers. I want to be able to make midi notes (I know how to do this with the pencil tool) and hear them through my speakers....

As it turns out, this particular recording probably won't have to be laid to video; I was given the audio and I assumed it was. However, it looks like we'll be doing something similar in the future...

Thanks for the great suggestions.

Yes, it's solo piano and it will have solo vocals over it. I guess you would call them pop piano songs (think Elton John or something).
