I will never buy another Asus Laptop. I have an i7 laptop that they discontinued and nothing was ever released since then. They just walked away. No updated drivers etc. I am not in slow death mode....

This is way too deep in the code. It would take a team a long time to get this squared without disrupting the rest of the program. I wonder what the PT 11 team is working on? PT12?

Get a dedicated drive just for your DAW. No internet, no AV, no facecakes. It's a hundred bucks for a good 128 SSD.

There is much disinformation about systems here. And there is some pretty good information also. I think some folks have overspent for X58 systems on a belief that that was the only option currently....

Nothing is easier and as quite as a closed water cooling system. I have them in three boxes. You can get them for under $50 w/rebate at the Egg. Easy to install, small and very efficient.

Desktop, "on-board video" is now historic, it was when a cheap video controller chip-set was integrated into the Motherboard (like 64megs) and grabbed a IRQ. It might be hard to find a board made...

"There is no such thing as SATA Rev 3.x certified cables. SATA cables all have the same AWG too, about the only thing they could do it plate the SATA connector pins differently for better signal...

PT loads at least 3x's faster with my SSD's. The platter drives like the WD Black have a read rate of about 80 :confused:the SSD I installed on my Ivy3770K benches in the 400's. How can you not see...
