No iTunes through CoreAudio

Well, Mac OSX 10.3.9 appears to have killed my ability to run iTunes through Core audio. In fact, iTunes won't even launch without me removing it from the Core audio supported apps prompt.

Found it!

When you set-up a new session, under I/O last used, you have to select
"Stereo Mix" instead of "Last Used"

It then separates the s/pdif from the analogue outs on the fader outs...

6.4 LE - s/pdif out

I'm having the toughest time getting s/pdif 2buss out of a PT session
into IZ RADAR.

Open Ableton Live, use CoreAudio-s/pdif out , no problem.

Go back to a PT session - No s/pdif out to...

I was hoping for a miracle trick w/out having to use
the external mixer, as a couple of the rooms i work at
do not own one.

seems like some mild verb on the master fader is
the most viable...

I could've sworn when i first messed around with this , I had had DP (Digital Performer) working w/ CoreAudio / 001...

Maybe it was just a dream after a long session....

I tryed the insert 3 out trick, but it appears to null the
output of the voc track to the 2bus...

I guess I could use the mix on the verb plug

How does everyone deal with the lack of sends / plugins,
while in LLM

I'd rather have a little latency with the benefit of Verb than
a DRY vocal...(uninspired)

Most pro singers hate latency...
